I have always believed in giving back to the society, not as something extra or good that we should do but as something which is our responsibility as a citizen. Some areas which are very close to my heart are child education, women empowerment, good governance in a democracy and green / environmental issues.

Since 2010, I have been involved in various initiatives related to Waste Management and Anti-Corruption. Last year, I started Pick a Fight as an initiative to connect people fighting for a cause with the help they need. These initiatives has also given me tremendous maturity and confidence to deal with different situations and driving a positive change. I have also been writing regular articles and poems about the issues close to my heart and expressing my views on different matters.

I like reading about and getting inspired from people who have stood against all odds and are working for a better society for our future generations. I have been lucky and privileged to come to know and meet many such people over the last few years. I am also pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School, Bangalore to expand my knowledge of our rights and duties as citizens and what can we do to protect them to ensure a just society.
